Pan, aka Neverafter
This one sold as a pitch to New Line originally. I had fear as a child of Peter Pan flying into my window at night, and based the story on it.
Hack/Slash
This was a fun assignment, based on Tim Seeley's comic book. I was quite happy with the way this script turned out, but the director had different ideas, which is why the adaption has remained in limbo.
Bigfoot
Bigfoot was an idea from the then owner of Legendary Pictures. It was a challenge to make what could be a goofy idea into something horrifying, which is why I took the job.
Invasion
Best piece of advice I can give based on this one: choose who you work with very carefully. There are a lot of scumbags out there. I met a couple on this one.
XIII
Thirteen sold to Universal, but unfortunately stalled in development due to too many differing ideas. I still love the idea of 'Flatliners' meets 'The Exorcist.'
Mass Extinction
Super fun idea from James Wan, but limited in what I can say about this one.
D.O.A.
One of my favorite stories that explored immigration and racial divide through the eyes of ghosts.
The Door
This was a spec that sold revolving around two brothers who had a protect a mysterious door in the middle of the woods.
